Born and reared in Hardeeville, SC, I grew up re-arranging and re-decorating my parent’s home. I have always looked for ways to make any space more attractive and more functional. I began by re-arranging the furniture, customizing the cabinets, and re-organizing all the closets in the house. Anywhere I went; my parent’s offices, friend’s houses, school, I was always re-arranging things. This eventually led to a B.A. in Interior Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design.

I began my career working for a very talented Architect in Hilton Head, SC, I spent countless hours designing and re-designing high-end private residences, condos, and smaller commercial properties. In 2002, I decided to follow my dream and moved to New York City. Among many other jobs, I worked with a design firm specializing in retail design.

After three years in the big city, I was then “made an offer I couldn’t refuse,” and moved back to the Hilton Head area to work for Hargray Communications. After training with all aspects of the company, I was finally able to put my design skills to use in a more hands-on manner. As Manager of Retail Marketing, I was responsible for the re-modeling and branding of 13 retail stores. After 2.5 years, Hargray changed hands, and that is when I decided to make a southern city, my home.

My passion for creating beautiful spaces is something that has followed me into each and every occupation. I believe that any space can be transformed into something that is not only beautiful to look at, but something that feels warm, inviting, and functions according to your needs.
